PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) is an effective tool in HIV prevention taken by people who are HIV negative after a potention high risk exposure. It must be taken within 72 hours after the high risk exposure. To learn more, visit: www.thesexyouwant.ca/pep/
How do I get PrEP?
Are you thinking about starting PrEP? Do you have questions about PrEP? Have you considered making PrEP part of your safer sex strategy? Meet with us! Our trained staff will answer any questions you have and walk you through everything you need to begin taking PrEP. Most people pay $0 for PrEP!
During your appointment you can be connected with a provider who will work with you on funding, delivery and regular testing! PrEP can be discreetly delivered to your home or another location of your choice. It's as easy as that!
Call 519-570-3687 and ask to speak to a staff member about PrEP. You can also drop-in to our Kitchener office at 5-1770 King Street East anytime during business hours to have a confidential conversation in-person: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm (closed 1 – 2 pm for lunch).
We continue to refer individuals seeking PrEP to the resource that is most accessible and relevant to them. If safe and comfortable, you can get PrEP through your healthcare provider, as well as the online and app based options below.
